Party FAQs

Some of my party guests are under the minimum age of 5, can they still attend and join in?

They are more than welcome to attend and join in with the party but will need additional adult supervision to join in with the Silver & Gold activites and may need additional adult help with the party games

When do I need to tell you my final no. of party guests by?

We will need to know this a minimum of 2 weeks before your party which is also when your 50% non refundable deposit is due by. This is so we can plan your party accordingly and order any extra craft items if necessary

Please note, if you have chosen a TEDDIES activity, we will need to know final party numbers a minimum 3 weeks before the party date.

I have given you my final party numbers but wish to add more people to this, is that possible?

Please contact us as soon as possible if this is the case and we'll see what we can do.

I couldn’t receive parental consent from all my party guests and I am having one of the activites this is needed for. Can my guests still take part?

Unfortunately due to health and safety reasons they will not be able to take part in the full experience without parental consent as the items we use require contact to the skin. If a guest at your party is unable to take part due to medical reasons then please let us know ASAP so we can provide an alternative activity for them.

My friend booked a party with art and crafts style activities. I would like exactly the same craft decorations as them. Is this possible?

Our craft decorations are subject to change due to availability but we try our very best to keep all decorations similar. Do let us know if there is something specific you would like and we'll see what we can do!

I have given you my song choice for singing/dancing the minimum 2 weeks required before my party however my party is less than 2 weeks away and i would like to change my song choice. Is this possible?

Please contact us direct as soon as possible to let us know and we'll see what we can do.

What deposits do I need to pay and when?
  • To secure your chosen party date and time we will require a non refundable 50% of your full party cost. This can be paid via BACs (13379868 / 30-99-21 / Miss L Davies) or Cash. Please note that your chosen party date is not secured until this money has been received and acknowledged by us. This must be a minimum 2 weeks before your party date.

  • Your final balance is then due no later than the day of your party. A booking form with invoice section will be sent to you (via email) with the amounts due for payment. Please note the number party guests given to us 2 weeks before your party will be charged for, even if this number lowers. If extra guests join then this will be added on to your final balance.

My child/a party guest has a disability, would the activities be suitable for them?

Of course! But please make us aware of this when booking your party so we can make any adjustments if needed.

I am not a very good cook, could you provide any party food or a party cake?

Due to food and hygiene regulations we are not able to provide any means of food for your party. We are more than happy to help with distribution of food, presenting, cutting and also distributing the party cake.

Some of our previous parties have ordered in pizza's for the party guests or made sandwiches.

I want to add more than 2 activities to my party, can I do this?

You are welcome to add as many packages as you like but please be aware that this will affect the overall cost and possible timings of the party. Please contact us for more details and to discuss this.

Is it possible to have a theme with my party?

We are more than happy to help incorporate a theme for your party.

We've previously added the following themes to our parties: Cowgirls, Frozen, Fancy Dress, One Direction, Little Mix, Glee, Under The Sea, Disney, Princesses, The Greatest Showman & Pirates. But please feel free to let us know what your theme is!

I noticed on the party page is states that you often take photos or videos at the party, where will these be used?

We will use these as promotional material on any of the following associated with XLR8 Dance & Fitness:

  • Website
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Posters
  • Instagram
  • Other social media sites
  • Leaflets
  • Brochures
  • Newspapers
  • Internet sites relating to XLR8 Dance & Fitness
  • Slideshows
  • DVDs

Please note, if you do not wish to be featured in photos or videos you must let your XLR8 party host know on arrival to the party.

I've given you my final no. of party guests, paid my invoice but now some people cannot attend. Can i get a refund?

Unfortunately due to administrative costs and costs of purchased equipment and package activities we will be unable to offer you a refund. You are however welcome to find a different party guest to fill the space. We will make you aware of this condition when you provide us with your final number of party guests.
